Prime Minister Modi unveiled a 108 ft Lord Hanuman statue in Gujarat’s Morbi .

14 Airport Authorities of India (AAI) airports are now equipped with the Ambulifts.
Ambulifts facility will help the flyers in reducing mobility under the Accessible India Campaign (Sugamya Bharat Abhiyaan) of the Indian Government. AAI, in order to facilitate the passengers with reduced mobility.
Those on wheelchairs or stretchers, has procured 20 ambulifts for the airports that are having scheduled flight operations of Code C . The Ambulifts manufactured indigenously under the ‘Make in India’ Policy.
1. Ambulifts at airports can cater to six wheelchairs and two stretchers with an attendant at a time.
2. The ambulifts are fitted with Heating ventilation and Air conditioning system.
3. Ambulifts are procured at a cost of Rs. 63 lakhs per unit. The facility is also provided at a nominal token charge to the operating airlines at its airports.
The centre has launched India’s biggest ever Quiz Contest ‘Sabka Vikas Mahaquiz’ launched by the centre. First quiz theme is Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana.
The quiz series has been launch on Ambedkar Jayanti, on the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar.
Ambedkar who is an icon of social justice and empowerment.
The Sabka Vikas Mahaquiz is being organized by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology as a part of an outreach effort to build awareness in citizens.
The quiz aims to sensitize the participants about various schemes and initiatives and how to avail benefits from them.
The contest will be available in 12 languages and will carry a cash prize of Rs 2000 each for 1000 winners per quiz.

Over 1,000 Lakh MT of food grains have already been distributed under the scheme.
